On the 21st of August 2011 Skydive Southcoast will be holding a very special parachute charity event in aid of Leukamia Busters, a children's leukaemia research charity.

Leukaemia Busters is a UK-based registered charity whose objective it is to develop new antibody-based magic bullet type treatments for children and adults with currently incurable forms of leukaemia.

This is achieved firstly through a high quality research and development programme to produce and evaluate new antibody-based drugs and secondly through clinical trials in patients to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of such newly emerging drugs.
