Based on the serial number and built in 1975, I believe this aircraft is the third to last M20E to be ever built by Mooney.
If you are looking for an aircraft to fly in most any weather, (with of course the exception of icing and CB's), you require or would benefit from short field performance on grass or tarmac, the M20E is in my opinion THE most cost efficient and flexible internationally certified 4 seater, all metal single on the planet.
Fitted with GAMI injectors and an EDM 700-4CF engine monitor it can be safely flown lean of peak consuming between 21 -23 ltr's an hour at 115-120 Kt's (and I can prove it), giving approx 1000 NM range endurance in nil wind conditions; or, for those who prefer performance over endurance 150 Kt's is achievable at FL70 (see aircraft review).

Remarks
I bought this beautiful Mooney in 2008 after scouring the market for a suitable all weather, all seasons commuting aircraft. It has been the most delightful aircraft I have ever owned, it is superbly stable as an IFR platform and out of the 550 hours use I have had from it, over 130 have been real IFR, in the clouds flying.
Averaging approx 25 MPG at 115 Kts must make this the most cost effective and efficient 4 seater certified aircraft around.
If there is anything our there to beat it I should love to hear about it.
The picture of me landing was taken late last year whilst I was making an approach into Bodmin Airfield to the SW runway which is only 480 Metres long. Not only did I easily get in with at least 100 Metres to spare but I departed an hour later with three on board, the luggage bay filled up, half tanks and on wet grass.
This aircraft is for sale or would consider sharing with an instrument rated or IMC rated pilot.
NB: Any potential owner should note that a N registered aircraft can be flown anywhere in the world by an appropriately licensed pilot holding an FAA licence or it can be flown in Britain by a pilot holding a UK or UK JAR/ EASA licence. It cannot be flown in a third country by a UK licensed pilot.
