Hallowe’en celebrations at the Skies Café

Old Sarum Airfield’s Skies Café begins a week-long celebration of Hallowe’en today, with decorations, a special themed menu and offers for visiting pilots.

The Café has been decked out with pumpkin lanterns, giant spiders, flocks of bats and a skeletal pilot. There’s even a photo booth – submit your picture to our Facebook page for a chance to win a free meal!

Alongside the ghoulish tinsel you will find a specials board with a themed menu. We’re anticipating Stinky Feet Soup (broccoli and stilton) and Stuffed Devil Horns (ham and cheese croissants).

We have even more for visiting pilots – for every landing fee on 30 and 31 October we will be giving a free slice of homemade pumpkin pie.

With nearly 100 years of history at Old Sarum Airfield, we are pretty sure there are some real ghosts and ghouls around. They, and we, look forward to welcoming you!
