NOTAMS
This is a list NOTAMs Old Sarum have issued in the past which are still current.
After a specified time NATS move each NOTAM (via AICs) to the AIP at which point they are no longer listed in the AIS website's Narrow Route or Aerodrome briefings, which most pilots use and rely on when planning a flight.
Combined with chart updates and pilot guides being issued only once a year you may appreciate this has caused a few problems with both transiting and visiting pilots being unaware, for example, we have free fall parachuting here on a regular basis.
Pilots should of course read all AICs and the latest AIP on a regular basis (not exactly practical!) or simply check the 'News', 'Operational Status' and 'Airfield Procedures' sections of our website for our current procedures.
